WWE’s biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 35, is just a day away from going down at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and one of the greatest, if not the greatest WWE Superstar of all time 16-time World Champion John Cena hasn’t been mentioned yet to be having a match at The Show Of Shows, but WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle says that Cena will be at WrestleMania 35.
As seen below, Angle was recently a guest on The Gorilla Position Podcast to promote his Farewell Match at this Sunday’s WrestleMania 35. During his appearance, Angle said that Cena will indeed be at WrestleMania 35 and will have a match. Angle also said that he wanted Cena to be the one to end his career, but it didn’t work out.
“Yeah, I was hoping it was going to be John but it didn’t happen,” Angle said of his final opponent. “I’m sure that he has another match in mind, but I wanted him to end my career just like when he started, I started his career. It was a good little storyline but unfortunately it’s not going to work out. But I love John, and I know he will have a WrestleMania match. I’m not sure if they announced it yet, but I’m almost positive he’s going to be there.”
It was previously reported that Cena had a deal to return to WrestleMania this coming Sunday, but it is still unknown at the moment what he will be doing and who he will be facing. As for Angle, he is still scheduled to take on Baron Corbin.
