Former two-time WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool told TMZ that she’s excited women are main eventing WrestleMania this year, but the next big step is for the women to actually get paid like main eventers. 
McCool, who retired in 2011, says she’s grateful for the women who came before her that paved the way and for the current stars who are dominating now to keep the progressive movement for women going to the future generations. Here’s what TMZ quoted McCool as saying on the issue: 
“I do think the women should get paid, a main event is a main event,” McCool said. “I hope they do and think they should.”

McCool made a return to compete alongside some of the current stars in the all-women Battle Royal at Evolution last October.
