It was previously reported that SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka potentially had an injury scare at Monday’s WWE Live Event in White Plains, New York during a match with Mandy Rose. Asuka would later take to Twitter and say that she was alright. Asuka was apparently cleared for in-ring action as she got physical with Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville on last night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE, laying them both out with strikes. Asuka will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Title against Mandy Rose at Sunday’s WWE Fastlane PPV.

The WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament to crown a New #1 Contender for WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy and his WrestleMania 35 Match continued during last night’s episode of WWE 205 Live. Oney Lorcan would defeat Humberto Carrillo to advance and Cedric Alexander would defeat Akira Tozawa to advance. The WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Semi-Finals is set to begin next Tuesday night with Oney Lorcan taking on Cedric Alexander and Tony Nese facing Drew Gulak. The finals will be Lorcan or Alexander vs. Nese or Gulak with the winner facing Murphy at WrestleMania 35.
