WWE SmackDown video highlights: Daniel Bryan lays out AJ Styles

“The new Daniel Bryan” made his second appearance on SmackDown last night.

Bryan was the guest on Miz TV and blamed the fans for harming the planet with their needless consumption every day, including drinking their plastic water bottles and eating factory-farmed meat. Bryan discussed turning heel against AJ Styles and winning the WWE Championship, saying he kicked one man in the groin on one day — but the fans commit countless atrocities against the earth every single day.

Bryan reiterated that the old Daniel Bryan and the Yes Movement are dead. The segment led to Styles coming out, Bryan throwing Miz in Styles’ way, Styles trying to brawl with Bryan, and Miz hitting the Skull Crushing Finale on Styles.

Styles defeated Miz in the main event. Bryan then attacked Styles after the match, focusing on his leg and locking on the heel hook. Bryan closed the show by getting on the mic and calling the fans fickle.

Also on SmackDown, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Asuka had a contract signing for their TLC match, Cesaro faced Jey Uso and Xavier Woods in a triple threat match, and Samoa Joe caused a distraction during Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton.
