A ton of wrestlers have been getting engaged or married this month. Just
recently, Sarah Logan and Rowe tied the knot, Lio Rush got married, and
Jordynne Grace and Jonathan Gresham announced their engagement. It
looks like another wrestler has just officially wed, and that is former
Cruiserweight Champion Akira Tozawa. Tozawa announced earlier today that he got married back on December 22nd. WWE Superstar Titus O’Neil posted a message on Twitter congratulating the former member of Titus Worldwide on the marriage a few hours ago. Tozawa has had some incredible matches throughout his career, and fans can still catch him in action during 205 Live every Wednesday night on the WWE Network.

During last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Ronda Rousey and Natalya put their friendship on hold as the two of them battled for the Raw Women’s Championship. It was a hard-fought match, but in the end, Rousey was able to defeat Nattie in order to retain her title. The Wrestling Observer Radio program has since reported that the entire match between Rousey and Natalya was actually completely called on the fly. This contrasts some of Rousey’s other WWE matches, which were supposedly rehearsed several times in advance. Natalya competed in a Gauntlet match earlier in the evening before fighting Rousey for this week’s taped episode of Raw. This is why the two of them decided to take it a bit easier during their match yesterday.
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have been off of WWE programming for several months now due to injuries. Vignettes hyping up both of their returns have been airing during Raw lately, but according to Zayn, he still has months to go before he will be able to compete again. On the Wrestling Observer Radio show, it was noted that WWE has begun inserting Zayn and Owens into storyline plans once again, and that both of them are expected to have a program going into the WrestleMania 35 event in April. Zayn and Owens worked both as a tag team and as singles stars prior to their injuries, but there is no word on whether or not these reported plans from WWE mean that they will be teaming up at WrestleMania once again.
