Debuts and returns were the theme of this year’s Raw after WrestleMania.
Ember Moon, No Way Jose, and The Authors of Pain were all called up from NXT. Bobby Lashley returned to WWE and destroyed Elias. And Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy returned from injury, with Joe interrupting Roman Reigns and setting up a match between them for Backlash. Jeff helped Seth Rollins and Finn Balor even the odds against The Miz and The Miztourage.
Paige also officially announced her retirement in an emotional speech, Braun Strowman & Nicholas vacated the Raw Tag Team titles, and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn failed in their attempt to join the Raw roster.
