Ever since Shawn Michaels returned to Raw recently and had a confrontation with The Undertaker, rumors suggesting that the WWE Hall of Famer will be coming out of retirement have been running rampant. As of right now, the belief is that Shawn will indeed be coming back for at least one more match, but according to Ringside News, WWE may be considering having Michaels comes in for two matches in the near future. The first one will reportedly see Michaels face The Undertaker once again at Survivor Series in Los Angeles, California on November 18th. If WWE decides to hold off on the singles match, then the plan would be for Michaels to team up with Triple H to face Kane and The Undertaker at Survivor Series instead.
As reported yesterday, WWE live streamed the construction of the Hell in a Cell structure online yesterday. Fans immediately noticed that the Hell in a Cell cage this year has been painted red for the first time ever. It appears that Impact Wrestling also noticed the change to the structure and the promotion even called out WWE for the similarities to their own steel cage that they have used in the past. The official Twitter account for Impact’s Global Wrestling Network streaming service referenced the red steel cage that has been used in Impact Wrestling in the past and indicated that they utilized the red cage with a roof long before WWE ever did. WWE will be hosting the Evolution pay-per-view on October 28th, and the company has promised that their first-ever all-women’s event will be a historic show that fans will not want to miss. Although Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are often positioned as the difference makers and leaders of the ongoing “Women’s Revolution” in WWE, it has been reported that neither are involved in running Evolution. Instead, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter says that Vince McMahon is completely in charge of the Evolution show this year. McMahon is still the leader when it comes to most WWE programs and pay-per-views, and Triple H is largely only in charge of the NXT and 205 Live shows right now, but he is allowed to insert creative input on the main shows.
