Following last Thursday night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, two new matches were announced and confirmed for the upcoming Impact Wrestling Slammiversary XVI PPV Event for later this month. First, it was confirmed that Eddie Edwards will be taking on “The Innovator Of Violence” and “The ECW Original” Tommy Dreamer in a House Of Hardcore Rules Match. Thanks to his obsession with Sami Callihan, Edwards ended up attacking Dreamer with a kendo stick at a recent House of Hardcore Event. Dreamer wasn’t just going to let that slide and now the two will meet at Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary XVI PPV Event.

It was also confirmed that Impact Wrestling X Division Champion Matt Sydal will be defending his Impact Wrestling X Division Title against “The Machine” Brian Cage. Cage has been unstoppable since debuting in Impact Wrestling. During last Thursday night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, Cage was able to pin Kongo Kong, clearing the way for Sydal.
