On the Raw after WrestleMania, The Authors of Pain finally debuted on WWE’s main roster. WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering managed the team, leading to the two of them achieving accolades such as the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic cup and the NXT Tag Team Championships. Akam and Rezar recently announced that Ellering will no longer be serving as their manager. During PWInsider’s Elite Audio, Mike Johnson revealed that WWE decided to split them up because they want to see The Authors of Pain thrive on the main roster on their own. Ellering is now expected to continue working with other developing talents in NXT. Ellering himself has already stated that the reason for his split from the Authors of Pain was not because of WWE’s travel schedule.
Neville was on top of the cruiserweight division in WWE for months, but the “King of the Cruiserweights” has not appeared on WWE programming at all since last year. He is still listed as a member of the WWE roster, but that is only because WWE has refused to release him from his contract. During PWInsider’s Elite Audio, it was revealed that Neville is still waiting for his current WWE deal to expire so that he may continue his wrestling career elsewhere. It was also noted that there is still a possibility that Neville could return to the company. There is still no word on the exact amount of time that remains on the former Cruiserweight Champion’s current WWE contract.
Brie Bella and Nikki Bella may not be full time competitors anymore, but they are arguably two of the biggest female stars that WWE has right now. The sisters are positioned as the stars on the E! network’s Total Divas and Total Bellas reality shows, and they also continue to wrestle for WWE occasionally. It has been a while since the twins have teamed up together in WWE, but that could be about to change very soon. Nikki Bella just sent out a tweet to Smackdown General Manager Paige wherein she requested for her to bring her and her sister in for a match. The Bella Twins could very well end up back on Smackdown soon, and Nikki has even teased feuding with Smackdown’s newest female tag team – The IIconics.
Hey @RealPaigeWWE ???????????????? Brie and I would love to put the SnapBack, Nike kicks, jersey, flannel, headband, and twin power back on in that WWE ring! Feeling pretty ICONIC…. ?? N https://t.co/2N7csMewUr
