Seth Rollins’ Original Partner, Chrissy Teigen Invited by WWE

Monday’s Raw ended with Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins teaming up for the first time ever and capturing the Raw Tag Team Championships from Sheamus and Cesaro in their first match together. The outcome was a bit of a surprising one for fans, but putting the tag titles back on Rollins had apparently been in the works for a while now. With Dean Ambrose out of action for several months now due to an injury, it appears that the partnership between Rollins and Ambrose (as well as the reunion of The Shield) has come to an end for now. With that in mind, WWE decided to pair Rollins up with a new tag team partner and have the new team capture the titles on Raw this past Monday night.
Jason Jordan was ultimately chosen to be Rollins’ tag team partner on Raw, but it sounds like that may not have been the original plan. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Finn Balor was originally being considered to capture the titles with Rollins on Monday. Eventually, the choice was obviously made to go with Jordan as Rollins’ new partner instead. Prior to winning the tag team titles with Rollins, it was believed that Jordan would be turning heel soon. No word on whether or not on whether or not that is still the plan for Jordan at the moment. As for Balor, there is no word on what the plans for him will be going forward either.
In keeping up with the tradition of having celebrities appear at WrestleMania each year, it looks like one star may already be confirmed for the show in New Orleans this April. It all started when model/TV host Chrissy Teigen tweeted that she “never had more fun” than at WrestleMania XXIV, where her husband, singer John Legend, performed “America the Beautiful.” For whatever reason, she had to leave early, but Stephanie McMahon caught wind of this tweet and offered her an invitation to this year’s event. It appears as though she has accepted the offer, even asking when the event is so that she can figure out how pregnant she will be.

.@ChrissyTeigen We’re sorry you had to leave early! Consider this your official invitation to #WrestleMania34 in #NOLA this year! @TripleH said to let him know if anyone tries to make you leave early this time! They’ll have a whole locker room to deal with! https://t.co/9A7Eewoliy
