One of the biggest names in all of wrestling has revealed that he has sustained an injury. Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega took to Twitter today to announce that he will be taking a break from wrestling to focus on healing his injuries. Wrestling Inc. reported that he has suffered a left meniscus injury that is going to keep him off of the Destruction in Kobe show that he had been scheduled to compete on. Omega and New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced that Leo Tonga is going to be taking his place on the show. There is no word on how long Omega will be out for, but he assured fans that he is only going to be taking a “short break.”
Unfortunately, I’ll have to take a short break. Hold the fort, Leo Tonga. See you in Kobe.

It was announced not too long ago that John “Bradshaw” Layfield has chosen to step down from his position as a full time announcer on Smackdown. Corey Graves has since taken over his role on the blue brand. The Dirty Sheets podcast claims that this departure was a long time in the making. WWE apparently scheduled his departure at the height of the bullying accusations against Mauro Ranallo from earlier this year. The company reportedly did not want to fire Layfield right then as it would have made more fans believe the rumors of bullying were true. Regardless, JBL will be keeping himself busy by working in Bermuda, and by making occasional appearance at some future WWE shows.
CFO$ has been working with WWE to create entrance themes for their wrestlers over the past couple of years now. The team has created the entrance themes for Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, Finn Balor, and virtually everybody who enters the company these days. Despite their success, numerous places have reported that CFO$ and WWE were no longer working together. The group responded to the rumors on Twitter, and they admitted that the reports were false and that they are still very much working with WWE. CFO$ is going to create more entrance themes for WWE going forward, and they just recently debuted a new song for Raw superstar Emma.
Rumor going around that we’re no longer working with WWE…FAKE NEWS! ??
