— As reported earlier today, there was an incident last weekend at a RevPro indie wrestling event where Sha Samuels and Josh Bodon attacked referee Aaren Wilde after their match due to a somewhat botched finish when Wilde counted three due to Bodon not getting his shoulders up in time.
— When Wilde went to Twitter, detailing his injuries which have caused him to retire from refereeing, Bodon responded by blaming him and implying that Wilde attacked him first. After video footage of the attack went online (showing Bodon was the one who dragged Wilde out of the ring and began assaulting him) and after RevPro severed all ties with Bodon for his behaviour, he deleted his social media accounts and has apparently gone on record to say that he has “retired from pro wrestling.” Footage of the attack is below:
