Former WCW Superstar Added To Bound For Glory, More On Kevin Nash, SoCal Val

— Former WCW United States Heavyweight Champion Steve “Mongo” McMichael will be making his first wrestling-related appearance in nearly ten years at TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view in Chicago on Sunday, October 12. McMichael will be the Special Guest Referee in the Monster’s Ball match, featuring four tag teams: TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money, Team 3D, The Latin American Xchange, and the duo of Matt Morgan and Abyss. TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter said McMichael’s role at Bound For Glory will be to “maintain peace, if at all possible.” For more comments from Carter on McMichael’s upcoming appearance, as well as a recent photo of McMichael, click here.

— As reported yesterday, Kevin Nash told News-JournalOnline.com that he hasn’t signed an agreement with TNA yet. Issues with merchandise are preventing the deal from becoming official. However, a few people in TNA are saying that Nash faxed a contract back to TNA last week and key officials were told he signed, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The belief in TNA is that he has signed and is with them while others are saying he has agreed to most of the terms but is telling friends he hasn’t signed quite yet.
