Roman Reigns literally opened the gates for battle this Friday night on WWE Smackdown, but the “Big Dog” probably did not expect the remnants of Degeneration-X to lead an actual army of NXT Superstars through the doors of the Allstate Arena.

Team Smackdown was in the midst of a full-blown riot on Friday as they faced over a dozen members of the Monday Night Raw roster in the closing moments of the show. Even best friends and long-time allies Reigns and Seth Rollins, their respective brand’s captains, got a few shots in on each other.

However, the dynamic completely shifted when cameras panned backstage to reveal Hall of Famers Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg escorted what looked to be the entire male NXT roster through the arena. The show went off the air in one of the biggest, most chaotic brawls we’ve ever seen. Check out the footage below.

Raw, Smackdown and NXT will of course go to war this Sunday at WWE Survivor Series, including two 15-person elimination matches (one for the men, and one for the women), as well as several bouts that will see the brands’ champions face off in a series of inter-brand triple threat matches.
