BREAKING: Marty Scurll Returns to the National Wrestling Alliance

The Villain has arrived in the National Wrestling Alliance.

Marty Scurll made a surprise appearance in Atlanta, GA this Saturday night in the closing moments of NWA Into The Fire, confronting world heavyweight champion Nick Aldis following a controversial victory over James Storm.

Aldis retained his title in a Two Out of Three Falls match after reversing a pinning combination by throwing Storm head-first into an exposed turnbuckle, knocking him out cold. He then locked in the King’s Lynn Cloverleaf, forcing the referee to end the match via stoppage.

This is not the first time Scurll has made his presence felt in an NWA ring. On April 27th, The Villain unsuccessfully challenged Aldis for the Ten Pounds of Gold in a well-received match at the Crockett Cup.

The former Bullet Club star is currently the hottest free agent in the business, as his contract with Ring of Honor expired earlier this month. While many expect him to show up in AEW, signing with the company is far from a foregone conclusion as there are certainly big-money offers on the table from multiple promotions.
