After WWE seemingly pulled the Cutting Edge segment from the upcoming SmackDown 1000 episode, there is now an update on Edge’s status for the show.

With the Cutting Edge segment being taken away fans had wondered whether the WWE Hall Of Famer would still be appearing, but according to PWInsider.com, the Rated R Superstar is still scheduled to appear on Tuesday, although his role is now unknown.

Within the same report, PWInsider claims that WWE Hall Of Famer, Booker T has also been booked for the show, as well as Big Show, who also appeared on the show last week in a match against Randy Orton.

As for The Rock, the WWE legend is expected to still be filming in London, England for his Fast & Furious spin-off movie, therefore it is unlikely he will be appearing live on the show, but he may have filmed something that WWE can air given his history with the show.
