The 26 Best Prime Day Deals From Amazon's Biggest Rivals

In the past five years, Amazon Prime Day has exploded. It started as a corporate anniversary event and now it's a two-day spending spree. We didn't need another shopping holiday, but that's what it has become.

So big is the hype that brick-and-mortar giants like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy have joined in the circus, along with many of Amazon's digital competitors, including eBay and Newegg.

To help you find some good products in the endless fields of discounts, we've spent days combing through sales pages. Below are our top picks. We'll update this list through the end of Prime Day at midnight Pacific time, July 16.

Note: When you buy something using the retail links in our stories, we may earn a small affiliate commission. Read more about how this works.

Walmart Deals

Walmart's "The Big Save" sale lasts through 3 am EDT Wednesday, July 17. Walmart also has many of the best Google Prime Day Deals.

  • Samsung Galaxy S10E for $550 ($200 off): The S10E is one of the absolute best Android phones you can own. It's the smaller step child of the Galaxy S10 family, but we like it more. It's smaller and easier to hold, and its fingerprint sensor is nicely placed on its right side. Most of its capabilities are the same as the larger Galaxy phones. The Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy Note 9 are also on sale.

  • Apple Watch Series 3 GPS 38mm for $199 ($80 off): The Series 3 is not the latest and greatest Apple Watch (there's a deal on Series 4 in the Best Buy section), but it's still a fantastic wearable that will last years. This is as cheap as we've ever seen it. The larger 42mm size is also $199 – $229, depending on how much you like the color white.

  • Xbox One S + 1 Game + Extra Controller + Headset for $300 ($150+ off): Three hundred bucks is a normal price for the Xbox One S, but you don't usually get a second controller or a very nice HyperX headset.

  • Nintendo Switch + 1 Game + Bag or Stand for $329 ($30 off): The Switch is a couple years old, and a Switch Lite is on the horizon (we don't know how to feel about it). Still, it's rare to see the system on sale due to its popularity. This is not a massive deal, but you get a discounted game and a carrying bag or battery stand. GameStop (below) has a Switch bundle deal, as well.

  • Instant Pot Duo60 6Qt 7-in-1 Multicooker for $50 ($50 off): Walmart has matched Amazon's price on the coveted sale item, the Instant Pot. I like my Instant Pot, but I'm glad I didn't pay more than $60 for it. If you want one, now is the time.

  • Apple iPad 32 GB for $249 ($80 off): The standard iPad is periodically discounted to $250 on Amazon, but it doesn't happen as often elsewhere. This is as cheap as we see the latest iPad. Read our Best iPad guide to learn more.

  • Samsung 65-Inch 4K TV (UN65NU6900) for $598 ($202 off): Samsung makes great TVs. Some of them are especially great. This one is pretty good. It's a TV you won't regret buying for $600.

  • TCL 55-Inch 6-Series 4K TV (55R617) for $529 ($370 off): When it comes to value, the 6-Series punches well above its weight. This model comes with Roku built-in and picture quality is as good as you'd get in many TVs hundreds of dollars more expensive.

  • Roku Streaming Stick Plus for $49 ($10 off): Roku is our favorite platform for watching streaming apps like Netflix and Hulu on a television, and the Streaming Stick Plus is one of the best Roku devices.

  • Roku Ultra Streaming TV Box for $69 ($30 off): If you want the absolute best Roku available, this is it. It has some features that the Stick Plus does not, like the ability to listen to TV through headphones and MicroSD support for viewing local photos or videos.

  • Dyson V6 Handheld Vacuum for $120 ($80 off): We love a good Dyson vac. They're expensive, but they know how to suck. This handheld model gets 15-20 minutes of suction on a charge and is made for cars, boats, and the far-flung corners of your home.

  • Ozark 8-Person Instant Hexagon Tent for $99 ($80 off): We have not spent a night under the stars in this particular tent, but it has lots of standing-height space. It also has a gear loft, built-in side pockets, and plentiful ventilation. It's one of those tents that pops up instantly when you unfurl it, so there's "no assembly required."

Newegg Deals

Newegg's Fantastech Sale ends 3 am EDT July 18.

  • Sony PlayStation 4 Pro for $350 ($50 off): If you're going to buy a PS4 and own a newer TV, this is the best model to buy. It's a little speedier and this is about as cheap as it gets.

  • Acer Aspire 7 17-Inch Gaming Laptop with Nvidia GTX 1060 for $870 ($330 off): Use promo code EMCTCUA54 at checkout to get the full discount. This model has a 256-gigabyte SSD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB GPU, eighth-generation Intel Core i7 CPU, and 16 GB of RAM. That's tech-speak for "it will play most any game pretty darn well."

  • Acer Nitro 27-Inch Gaming Monitor for $300 ($100 off):: Use promo code FANTECH1A2 at checkout to get the full discount. This monitor has a 1,440p resolution and a quick response rate for smooth gaming.

Best Buy Deals

Best Buy is having a 48-hour Flash Sale during Prime Day with a few noteworthy sales.

  • Apple Watch Series 4 for $349 ($50 off): The Series 4 has a larger display that holds more complications and has the most notable new Apple Watch features: fall and arrhythmia detection. Read our full review.

  • EcoVacs DeeBot Ozmo 930 for $400 ($300 off): This is one of our favorite robot vacuums and it's a lot tougher to turn it down at this price.

  • LG 34-Inch UltraWide HD Monitor for $280 ($100 off): I've owned this monitor for a year and it was one of the best purchases I've made. It's great for gaming and the ultrawide screen lets me have two or more windows open side by side.

  • LG Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer for $140 ($140 off): If you own a TV without a soundbar or speakers, you're missing out on a universe of high-fidelity audio. This model has a wireless subwoofer. Place it right next to your couch before you watch the next season of Stranger Things.

GameStop Deals

GameStop is holding a Game Days Summer Sale through July 20.

  • Nintendo Switch + Starlink: Battle for Atlas for $300 ($60 off): Star Link is a great game. The Switch version lets you play as Fox McCloud of Star Fox fame. If this game looks fun, it's as good a deal as you'll find on the Switch.

  • Nintendo Switch Game Deals: Mario + Rabbids ($20), Civilization VI ($30), Nintendo Labo Kits ($40), and other titles are on sale.

  • Xbox One Game Deals: The Division 2 ($20), Kingdom Hearts III ($20), and other games are on sale.

  • PS4 Game Deals: Red Dead Redemption ($50) and other games are on sale.

Ebay Deals

The eBay "Endless Choices, Epic Deals" sale goes on through Prime Day.

  • KitchenAid Nespresso Maker for $180 ($270 off): This is exactly what you'd expect from a KitchenAid Nespresso machine, and I say that kindly. KitchenAid is known for its style and durable designs.

  • Canon EOS 5DS DSLR Camera Body for $1,655 ($400+ off): The 5DS is a workhorse of a camera. It's not as small or light as a mirrorless, but this thing can can capture a truly astounding amount of detail with its 50-megapixel full-frame sensor. Our camera reviewers love it.

  • Canon Pixma MG3620 All-in-One Printer for $45 ($35 off): If you're like me and still use a printer regularly for some reason, this is a great one.
