New York homeboys Mike D and Ad-Rock, aka the Beastie Boys, have just launched their first collaboration with Adidas’ skate and street style division to commemorate their seminal album “Paul’s Boutique,” which turns 30 on July 25.
The Adidas Skateboarding x Beastie Boys Americana sneaker also involves street art exhibition Beyond The Streets, Sole Collector reports.
Stepping into stores this Thursday, the sneakers will be exclusively available at select skate shops in North America, along with the Beyond The Streets exhibition gift shop in Williamsburg.
The shoe has an off-white, vegan canvas upper with a heather gray cotton-jersey Adidas three-strip and lining to match, and a classic gum sole. The tongue features the Beastie Boys logo, designed by artist Eric Haze.
A portion of the profits will be donated to PEACE sisters, supporting the education and empowerment of African women, and Little Kids Rock, benefiting youth music programs in schools.

The shoes will go for $85 and likely sell out fast due to their limited run — just 500 pairs.
