One thing folks are definitely not voting for is CNN’s debate format.

Candidates on stage Tuesday during the 2020 Democratic presidential debate in Detroit were given 60 seconds to answer questions from moderators and 30 seconds for rebuttals and responses — but the rapid-fire turnaround left some viewers peeved.

“The time limit is horrible,” tweeted @SandraCoppola7. “I stopped watching when I realized no one could finish an answer to a question.”

Added another user: “This format is a disaster.”

One person said they “hate this freakin time limit.”

Ire was especially directed at CNN anchor Jake Tapper for his strict enforcement of the time-limit rules, including by interrupting candidates and loudly stating “Thank you.”

“Any candidate: I—,” wrote @stevemorris. “Jake Tapper: I’m sorry your time is up.”

Tweeted @alisonbuckley: “STOP INTERRUPTING the candidates. You’re giving me a massive headache.? @CNN @jaketapper @DanaBashCNN #DemDebate.”

“Jake Tapper is going to TURN THIS DEBATE RIGHT AROUND AND GO HOME if the candidates don’t adhere to the time limits,” joked @dandrezner.

Tapper was also blasted by Sen. Bernie Sanders for one of the questions he asked about the “Medicare For All” plan.

“Jake, your question is a Republican talking point! At the end of the day and by the way, the health care industry will be advertising tonight on this program,” Sanders said.

Later, Sen. Elizabeth Warren simply said “no” and emphatically shook her head when moderator Don Lemon tried to cut her off.  She then kept talking.

Some viewers also felt that the outlet was giving former Maryland congressman John Delaney too much airtime.

“Does Delaney own cnn or something,” tweeted @jaycaspiankang.

Added another user: “Did John Delaney pay these CNN moderators before tonight’s #DemDebate to give him a lot of speaking time?”
