Rescue crews were searching for a missing swimmer under the Throgs Neck Bridge in the Bronx on Thursday night, officials said.

Police were called to the scene at around 7 p.m. and were told that a 46-year-old man jumped off of a boat he was on and never resurfaced, according to sources.

The man was on the boat with a 40-year-old woman before he went into the water. She was not injured.

NYPD Harbor teams, aviation and scuba drivers were searching for man on Thursday night.
