Despite submitting a €1m offer for Algerian striker Mohamed Amine Amoura, French Ligue 1 club FC Metz have missed out on signing the player, according to Joris Crolbois of L’Est Républicain.
Despite interest from Turkey and Istanbul club Kasimpasa, who offered around €700k, the 21-year-old has chosen to swap Algerian Ligue 1 side ES Sétif for Swiss club Lugano instead. Lugano matched Metz’s offer and the more regular playing time on offer in Switzerland made up the player’s mind.
