L’Équipe and Manu Lonjon report that Lyon have opted to appoint current Morocco national team goalkeeping coach Christophe Revel to occupy the same position at the Ligue 1 club, following the departure of Grégory Coupet.

OL have agreed to buy Revel out of his contract with the African nation, which was due to run until 2023.

The 41-year-old spent 9 years at Rennes between 2008 and 2017 in the same role and spent the 2018/19 campaign at Lorient.
