Le Parisien report that Spanish winger Jesé lost 7kgs in a bid to convince La Liga club Real Betis to sign him on loan from PSG until the end of the season.
It turns out that the former Stoke City loanee’s efforts have been rewarded, as RMC understand that the player will be joining the Seville based side until the end of the 2018/19 campaign without an option to buy.
The good relationship between his agent, Ginès Carvajal and Lorenzo Serra Ferrer, the Real Betis president, as well as manager Quique Setien’s presence, someone who coached Jesé at Las Palmas, facilitated the deal.
This, on top of the increasingly good working relationship between PSG and Real Betis following Giovani Lo Celso’s summer move.
