Ligue 2 sides line up to bring in Nantes attacker Santy Ngom on loan

20 Minutes report that a host of Ligue 2 outfits have made contact with French top flight side FC Nantes over the possible loan signing of 25-year-old Santy Ngom.

The outfits Nancy, Le Havre and FC Lorient have registered their interest ahead of next month’s transfer window, but Sochaux are the club that is currently pushing hardest to sign the Senegal international.

Les Canaris will not be rushed into a decision on Ngom, with the distinct possibility that a sale of Emiliano Sala, probably to the Premier League, with the McKay father and son duo retaining an exclusive mandate as given to them by Nantes President Waldemar Kita, would bring Nantes to retain Ngom as back-up to Majeed Waris.
