She’s keeping Instagram on its toes.

Violetta Komyshan is a ballerina and a social media influencer with 1.1 million followers — far more than your average dancer.

It’s probably fair to say her fan base has been boosted by the fact that the 23-year-old brunette is also the longtime girlfriend of Ansel Elgort, one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood. This year alone, he stars in the buzzy movie adaptation of “The Goldfinch” and is filming “West Side Story” with Steven Spielberg.

And while she’s been able to walk red carpets around the globe with Elgort — including once when he interviewed her for GQ — Komyshan is her own woman.

“I feel like I’m complete with [ballet],” she told The Post.

Born in Toronto, Komyshan moved to New York City at age 5 after spending a year in the Ukraine. Her parents, both originally from the Eastern European nation, took her there to get to know her family, she ­explained.

She started dancing after moving to Brooklyn. When Komyshan was 9, choreographer Eliot Feld’s company happened to be auditioning students at her public elementary school in the borough. It was then that she started her love affair with classical ballet.

The ballerina later attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts — aka the “Fame” school — where she ­majored in dance. In addition to ballet, she learned modern.

It was there that she met Elgort, now 25.

“I think he had his eye on me because we were in the same lunch period or something,” Komyshan told Cosmopolitan in 2017. “We exchanged numbers and became friends, and then we started dating when I was at the end of sophomore year.”

Her other classmates included actor Timothée Chalamet and Lourdes Leon, the eldest daughter of Madonna.

But while many of her friends pursued careers in Hollywood, it’s always been dance that’s held Komyshan’s heart — even as her ­fellow ballerinas moved on to other endeavors.

“Everybody around me was going into other careers,” she said. “I think I’m one of the few people from my school who actually still dances. [Ballet has] become such a part of my life that I don’t ever see myself stopping.”

Komyshan attended college for two years, but shifted gears once she signed with her first professional company, ­BalletNext.

“I was leaving school every day and running to dance classes,” she said. “I knew that whatever I was studying wasn’t my priority.”

Although no longer with BalletNext, she’s currently dancing in her “favorite” show, “The Master and Form,” at the Whitney Museum’s 2019 Biennial. The piece, taking place at the museum through September, has been compared to S&M culture by its artist-creator Brendan Fernandes.

Ten dancers, including Komyshan, perform in a cage-like structure with hanging ropes. As they test their endurance, the idea is to show the discipline that goes into ballet.

“It’s not super-challenging for me physically so it’s been fun experimenting with how I’m moving,” said Komyshan of the exhibit.

She’s also found a new niche as an ­Instagram influencer, working with brands such as Tods and Forevermark Diamonds.

“I mean, it’s kind of crazy because my mind wants to do 30 things at the same time,” she said of her new opportunities. “But I feel like you can never really make it to the top if you don’t focus your ­energy on [one] thing. Right now, it’s dance.”

And while the ballerina is prolific on Instagram, Elgort has barely been seen on the platform since late May — when he lit up the Internet by posting a mysterious series of 17 shirtless, moody selfies without any explanation.

Komyshan posted a comment on one, offering: “. . . they’re all pretty good [to be honest].”

She wouldn’t reveal if she’s been helping Elgort learn any Jets dance moves for “West Side Story,” but then again she’s plenty busy on her own.

Come fall, she’ll be heading to Chicago to dance in the Chicago Ballet Conservatory and Elgin Symphony Orchestra’s production of “The Nutcracker.”

Just don’t expect her to leave New York full time.

“I don’t think I’d ever move,” said ­Komyshan, who has a new apartment in Tudor City.

“It’s a little like a fairy land.”
