Millennials get a bad rap for a lot of things, from prioritizing avocado toast over mortgages to killing mayonnaise. But according to a new survey, one of the things millennial moms are getting right is their sex lives — this according to Peanut, a social networking app for moms.
In an effort to help new mamas connect over the topics that matter to them most, the app launched a Pages platform for discussions. And they discovered that the most popular page of them all was about — you guessed it — sex.
So, in August Peanut asked 1,000 moms aged 22-37 about their lives in the bedroom. Among the findings? Not surprisingly, the number one reason 42 percent of respondents women said they aren’t having more sex is due to “being tired.” Turns out newborns can be exhausting! Who knew?

And if you were nervous about your first time post-baby, you’re not alone. According to the survey, almost 62 percent of women were anxious once they got the go-ahead to have sex, mostly due to fear of pain, feeling self-conscious, or worries over becoming pregnant again.
But there is good news. When they are doing the deed, 74 percent of new moms report that postpartum sex is actually better than prepartum sex. And when it comes to motivation for getting it on, 55 percent of women report that they’re doing so because of “personal desire.”
As you were, ladies.
