George Lucas tours $27M condo in famous Manhattan building

In a galaxy not so far, far away, “Star Wars” filmmaker George Lucas and his businesswoman wife Mellody Hobson scoped out a $26.99 million apartment at 432 Park Ave.

The three-bedroom, 4½-bathroom pad at 432 Park — known for being, at 1,396 feet tall, the tallest completed residential building in the western hemisphere — comes with a library, a windowed eat-in kitchen with views of Central Park and its own elevator landing.

The 4,019-square-foot residence comes with nearly 13-foot ceilings, 10-by-10 windows and a master suite with two spa-like master bathrooms.

Hobson, the president and co-CEO of Ariel Investments, first came to tour the building on her own, and then returned for a second visit with Lucas in tow, our spies say.

The unit was asking $28 million in April and $27.5 million in September.

We hear that the couple also toured other towers on 57th Street’s Billionaires Row, including One57.

“They were seeing everything — and why not, they can afford it,” said one insider. (Lucas has a net worth of more than $5.9 billion; Hobson’s, while less, is not too shabby: about $10 million.)

The Rafael Vinoly-designed building features 30,000 square feet of amenities, including a private restaurant, a lounge, an outdoor garden, a pool, a fitness center and a conference room.

The listing brokers, Douglas Elliman’s Michael Lorber and Alexander Boriskin, did not return calls seeking comment.
