It started with the lynching of Mohammed Akhlaq in 2015, and then the murder of dairy farmer Pehlu Khan in Alwar in 2017 took it to a level where it was justified that any Muslim seen with a cow can be or shall be lynched with an unattested consent of the state.

The lynching incidents that followed these two incidents were just anecdotes to a larger truth that the bloodthirsty political vultures would exploit people’s sentiments regarding cows to set up their own political agenda.
