Watch: Railway Police Officer Saves A Woman From Coming Under A Train

For decades, the city has seen thousands of reckless deaths as people slip on railway tracks. In a bid to catch the train, many fall into the wide gap between the train and the station and suffer a painful death. According to an RTI query in 2017, around 3,202 commuters lost their life on railway tracks alone.

These tragedies have made Mumbai’s stations popularly known as ‘Killer Platforms’.

It is unlikely that these accidents will come to a halt anytime soon. In another video shared by TOI, a Reserve Police Force (RPF) soldier can be seen risking his life as he tries to rescue a woman who gets dragged by the moving train onto the platform.

In the video, a woman wearing a saree can be seen getting down at the Mumbai’s Kanjurmarg railway station while the train is moving but her saree gets caught by the compartment handle and she loses her balance.Click Here: Maori All Blacks Store
