Researchers Claim Anne Frank’s Diary Carries ‘Dirty Jokes’ In Some Pages

The Diary of Anne Frank is one of the most impactful pieces of written work in history. While the content of the book is out for the public to read, researchers have found newer content from the diary. Anne chronicled her life in hiding until August 1944, when her family was most likely betrayed and sent to Nazi concentration camps.

Researchers for the first time have published writing on two pages of Anne Frank’s diary which she covered over with brown paper, discovering dirty jokes and a teenager’s interest in sex “Anne Frank writes about sexuality in a disarming way.
