Kenny Omega has proposed a lights out tag team match for next week, with him and NJPW star KENTA taking on Jon Moxley and Lance Archer.

A video that was posted on social media following tonight’s Dynamite had Omega issuing a challenge to Lance Archer and Jon Moxley. He said he would talk to KENTA to team up with him to challenge the two to a lights out match, where pinfalls would count anywhere.

The start of the video had Omega catch up with KENTA backstage, greeting him warmly and saying  that “brother Switchblade” never told him to expect a guest. Omega went for the “too sweet” hand gesture, but KENTA blew him off, saying that he was not his friend and was here to beat Moxley. KENTA then walked away as Omega issued the challenge.

Tonight’s episode of Dynamite closed with KENTA making a surprise appearance, laying out Moxley with the GTS. Moxley is scheduled to defend the IWGP United States title against KENTA on the February 26th episode of NJPW Strong.
