Medical negligence is a serious problem that needs to be addressed in the country. Especially, with women who are pregnant and in a lot of pain, and yet are turned away by hospitals. In one such case, a pregnant woman was turned away and had to give birth to the child in unsanitary conditions in a toilet at Etah railway station.

The doctors of the hospital allegedly turned away the pregnant woman, saying that her condition was not normal. However, due absence of doctors or medicinal facilities, the baby died shortly after the birth, reported ANI.
