Backstage News On WWE’s Reaction to Chris Jericho Appearing at “ALL IN”, His Impact Status Following the Event

One of the biggest surprises of the night at “ALL IN” this past Saturday night came when Chris Jericho made an appearance, breaking a longstanding policy Jericho had that he would not appear on TV in the United States for any other promotion aside from WWE.

Following Jericho’s appearance at “ALL IN”, speculation has been rampant as to Jericho’s future outside of WWE, and in particular, Jericho’s possible Impact Wrestling debut. According to PWInsider.com, via Cagesideseats.com, Jericho appearing at “ALL IN” had nothing to do with Impact Wrestling, and the appearance was strictly to promote the upcoming Cruise of Jericho which will feature Y2J teaming with The Young Bucks to face Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega and Marty Scurll.

In related news, PWInsider reports WWE was likely very unhappy with Jericho’s appearance at “ALL IN”, and as we have been reporting for the past few weeks, it appears as if Jericho’s relationship with and allegiance to WWE has been changing since he won the IWGP IC Title.
