It is expected that more wrestlers from RAW and SmackDown Live will be working NXT House Shows moving forward. Luke Harper worked two weekends ago in Buffalo near his home in a match against Ricochet and Tyler Breeze also has worked shows recently. The belief is that it will be wrestlers who don’t have any storylines going for them on the main brands that are the likely candidates to be going to NXT Shows.
Likewise, 205 Live and NXT Talent are possibilities to be used on the main WWE brands and according to the sources, another big reason that WWE is open to having this sort of cross involvement is because a lot of these wrestlers are getting paid their full downside guaranteed contracts for a very limited amount of work. Lio Rush and Drake Maverick being two examples who are now on the main shows at least for the foreseeable future and Rush for one is someone many WWE Officials are high on.
