As noted, Cody Rhodes requested and received his release from World Wrestling Entertainment this weekend.

Shortly after the news of Rhodes’ official WWE release became public on Sunday evening, fellow former WWE Superstar Wade Barrett took to social media to comment on Rhodes parting ways with WWE.

“So many of my fave times in WWE were with Cody Rhodes, both in front of & behind the camera,” wrote Barrett, who also parted ways with WWE recently. “It takes balls to walk away, hats off.”
