The Brumbies are keeping things steady ahead of a top of the table clash with the Chiefs, maintaining their starting XV from a win over the Cheetahs.
Their bench will look markedly different at GIO Stadium on Saturday night, though with front-rowers Josh Mann-Rea and Les Makin and scrumhalf Joe Powell coming on to the bench for the match.
Mann-Rea returns from suspension for the match, while Powell comes on to the bench for the first time this season.
Robbie Coleman has retained his starting wing spot, after replacing Henry Speight for the Cheetahs clash.
Speaking in Sydney on Wednesday, Brumbies centre Matt Toomua said the clash would be a telling one for the Brumbies.
“It’s kind of hard to judge at the moment because we’re still early in the competition, we’ve only played five games, I think we’ll know later on (how the conferences stack up),” he said.
“The Kiwi teams looking very strong early, in particular the Chiefs, so we know how good they are.”
The Brumbies will play their first home game since Round two in the clash with the Kiwi ladder-leaders, with the match kicking off at 7:40pm AEDT.
