WWE has officially confirmed that Triple H will be making his return to the ring for the first time WrestleMania, and it will happen this Sunday!
Unfortunately, we’re not talking about this weekend’s WWE TLC pay-per-view. Instead, the King of Kings will join the Smackdown brand for one night only to compete against an unknown opponent in Santiago, Chile. The company is currently touring South America, and after losing both Kevin Owens and AJ Styles – two of the brand’s very top stars – it seems WWE is scrambling to make things right for the fans.
As we reported earlier this week, Kevin Owens left the WWE South American tour early to deal with unspecified “personal issues”, which he later confirmed had nothing to do with illness or injury. AJ Styles was removed from the tour and will work Sunday’s WWE TLC pay-per-view in a match against Finn Balor, after both Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns were taken off the road due to an outbreak of viral meningitis.
