Rennes President Rene Ruello confirmed last night in an interview with Ouest France that Christian Gourcuff would be the club’s new manager from next season.

Ruello admitted that the details of the deal were yet to be agreed:

“We have not talked about the details; they are not of interest, the sporting project of Rennes is.”
