Cimed will meet the best teams in Qatar

CIMED coach Marcos Pacheco is looking forward to how his champion team will cope with the best clubs in the world at the 2009 FIVB Men’s World Club Championships which will be held in Doha, Qatar from November 3-8.

 

 

CIMED won the Men’s Club South American Championships for the first time earlier this month. After an unexpected victory in the Men’s Club South American Championships CIMED is looking forward to its unexpected appointment in Qatar

CIMED, who qualified for the Club World Championships for the first time by claiming the fifth edition of the Men’s Club South American Championships on home soil in Florianopolis. Brazilian team had not entertained the idea that they might qualify for the premier event for club Volleyball and Pacheco is anticipating a great challenge to get his players up for the week long tournament which also features Trentino Betclic (Italy), Zenit Kazan (Russia), Corozal (Puerto Rico), Zamalek (Egypt), PGE Skra Belchatow (Poland), Payakan (Iran) and Al-Arabi (Qatar).

Now, with the title, we will be face to face with the best teams in the world. I want to see how the team will hold themselves, since we will be making our debut in the tournament. The FIVB Men’s Club World Volleyball Championships was not in our calendar and for that, it will be difficult to us,” Pacheco said.
