CM Punk at All In Press Conference? NXT Star Returns, Alicia Fox

All In will be taking place in Chicago, Illinois later on this year, and the event will take place in front of over 10,000 fans. Given the location of the show and the fact that Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks are hoping to make the event as memorable as possible, fans have been wondering if CM Punk will be making his first pro wrestling appearance since 2014 during the show. During last week’s press conference at Chicago’s Pro Wrestling Tees store, CM Punk was reportedly in the back the whole time. Jenn Sterger, the host of the press conference, noted on Collider’s Bodyslam podcast that “the best in the world” was in the store during the press conference. CM Punk is confirmed to take part in a meet and greet at the store on August 31st, which is just one day before All In officially takes place.

NXT has been using some of the developmental brand’s former stars on some of their recent live events. The likes of The Revival and Tyler Breeze have made unannounced in-ring returns during NXT live events over the past week, and another former NXT Superstar has just done the same. Although Killian Dain of SAnitY is set to debut on the Smackdown roster with Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe any week now, Dain returned to NXT during a show in San Antonio, Texas over the weekend. Dain and Ricochet teamed up to defeat Lars Sullivan and The Velveteen Dream during the show. Dain is expected to officially debut on the main WWE roster at some point very soon.

One member of the WWE roster who has had to miss out on a lot recently is Alicia Fox. A grueling tailbone injury cost Alicia Fox the chance to compete in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match in January, WrestleMania 34 in April, and she will most likely not be wrestling in the women’s Money in the Bank match during next month’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view either. However, according to a report from PWInsider, Fox has returned backstage to WWE for the first time since January. She is reportedly in the building for tonight’s Raw show in Albany, New York. These appearances have typically indicated that an injured wrestler is backstage to receive their final medical updates before getting clearance from doctors.
