– According to spectator reports, ECW Champion CM Punk was spotted early this morning in Detroit, Michigan being followed around by CNN television cameras. Apparently CNN is filming Punk for their upcoming documentary piece on deaths in professional wrestling. Tonight’s ECW/SmackDown tapings will take place from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

– Speaking of tonight’s tapings, WWE has advertised the main event of tonight’s show as Rey Mysterio & Batista vs. Finlay & The Great Khali. It is assumed that this match will take place as a dark match main event, but you never know.
