Carl Leuer of St. Michael-Albertville has committed to wrestling for Augsburg University next season.

Leuer is a two-time state placewinner. He was the Class AAA 160-pound runner-up this season. He placed third at 170 pounds as a junior and was a state qualifier at 152 pounds as a sophomore. Leuer finished his high school career with a 152-53 record, including 58 pins.

Leuer is projected to wrestle at 165 or 174 pounds for the Auggies.
