Paddy Power has released updated betting odds for this year’s WWE Royal Rumble match, and still leading the pack with the best odds of winning is Smackdown Live star Shinsuke Nakamura at 6/4.
In a surprising move, Daniel Bryan’s odds of winning the WWE Royal Rumble match have increased from several days ago, as Paddy Power now has Bryan listed at 4/1, tieing him with Dolph Ziggler as the third place favorite to win the Royal Rumble match. Ziggler is currently off WWE TV as part of a story line which saw him relinquish the United States Title and seemingly ‘quit’ WWE after winning the belt at Clash of Champions in December. Ziggler is expected to return to WWE TV at some point, and the current betting odds might be predicting The Showoff’s return at Royal Rumble.
John Cena, who is rumored to be facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34, was favored to win the Royal Rumble last week, but has since seen his betting odds fall to five.
As a reminder, fractional betting odds mean you would have to bet the number to the right of the fraction to win the number to the left. So, a bet of $400 on Nakamura would win you $600.
