Slaven Bilic confirmed this morning in a press conference that French international attacking midfielder Dimitri Payet wants to leave his current club, but insisted that West Ham United would not sell the player this month.
Bilic also confirmed that until Payet has decided to go on strike in order to force a move, but that whilst the Frenchman continues to display such an attitude, he will be excluding from match-day squads and first team training.
According to The Telegraph, Payet has taken these drastic measures after West Ham rejected an offer from Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille, where he wishes to return.
The offer, according to the English outlet, was worth around £20m, with £2.5m in available bonuses.
The saga is likely to rumble on throughout this month.
