It was reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet at the time of Enzo’s WWE release, which was on January 23rd, that sources noted WWE decided to cut ties with the former Cruiserweight Champion partly because he failed to disclose to WWE officials that he was the subject of an ongoing police investigation.

However, if Enzo’s above Tweets are to be believed, then he was not aware of the police investigation until 24 hours before WWE decided to release him.
