Former Announcer Returning To WWE?, Sim Snuka In Disguise, Mania Record Set

— DirecTV’s preview for the premiere of WWE Superstars on WGN America next week simply reads: “With Kevin Kelly.”

We haven’t heard anything on Kevin Kelly returning to the company, although company officials were scrambling to find commentators for the program. If so, he would be returning to the company after a six year absence. It could be a mistake on the part of DirecTV, but it would be a really strange mistake to make.

— Some have speculated that the cameraman on the receiving end of Undertaker’s insane dive spot at WrestleMania XXV was actually Sim Snuka in disguise. According to one source, it was indeed the Raw Superstar, although it is not 100% confirmed.

Snuka was brought in for WrestleMania weekend as he squared off against Dolph Ziggler at the Axxess event earlier in the day. This could also explain why he was not used in the Lumberjack Match to unify the WWE Tag Team Championship and World Tag Team Championship.

— Following his bout against Chris Jericho this past Sunday, WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka is now the oldest performer to ever wrestle a match at any Wrestlemania event.
