Bordeaux and Marseille have concluded an agreement for the transfer of versatile French midfielder Grégory Sertic, according to RMC.

As reported by Le Parisien yesterday, the player is due to sign a 4.5 year deal with Marseille after he undergoes a medical with OM today.

Marseille manager Rudi Garcia, who shares the same agent as Sertic, appreciates the player for his versatility.

The undisclosed fee in the deal is believed to be worth €2m, with Sertic’s current Bordeaux deal expiring at the end of the current campaign.

Talks are understood to have dragged a little as the Girondins were looking for a sell-on percentage in the deal. It is not clear if President Triaud’s wish in this regard was granted or not.
