– For those that missed it on RAW last night, Shawn Michaels qualified for the 30 Man Royal Rumble match on this week’s show in a qualifying match against Trevor Murdoch. Michaels defeated Murdoch via submission using an inverted Figure Four leg lock that I had not seen before.

– Next week on RAW Shawn Michaels will face Ken Kennedy and Triple H will have chance to get back into the Royal Rumble as he will work a qualifying match against what is now a mystery opponent.

– According to a few reader reports, Comcast Cable will not be carrying the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in High Definition. A representative said that the company is capable of showing pay-per-view events in HD on their InDemand 2 channel, but they have not received any details from World Wrestling Entertainment. We will keep you updated if this changes.
