Hogan Asks Fans if He Should Wrestle, Kavita Devi Note, CFO$ News

Hulk Hogan will always be one of the biggest names in the history of professional wrestling, but Hogan was more or less blackballed from the industry due to his widely publicized leaked sex tape and subsequent lawsuit against Gawker. While doing a Q&A session at Hogan’s Beach Shop, he was asked about a potential return to wrestling. Hogan did not answer the question, instead choosing to let the fans decide if he should make another comeback. WWE has reportedly wanted to bring back Hulk Hogan, but they have seemingly been hesitant to do so in light of his recent scandals. Hogan said on the matter: “Now I got a question for you. From this point forward, with Hulk Hogan being in the prime of his career, with Hulk Hogan being the greatest beach bum ever with the greatest beach shop, what do you fans want to see me do with wrestling? Do you want me to stay out of it? Do you want me to get back in it? Do you want me to tear the business apart? I want to hear from you guys. I want to get your replies. What do the fans want Hulk Hogan to do about wrestling from this point forward.”

Kavita Devi may not have fared too well in her match against Dakota Kai in the Mae Young Classic, but she is the first Indian woman to set foot in a WWE ring. It has been reported in the past that WWE really wants to break into the market over in India, so her loss may have come as a shock to some fans. Nevertheless, her match against Kai has picked up over thirteen times as many YouTube views than all other first round matches posted to the site. This includes matches against recognized talent such as Kairi Sane, Shayna Baszler, Toni Storm, or Candice LeRae. In fact, the only other videos from this week topping it in terms of views include Raw’s segment with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman, as well as the contract signing between Roman Reigns and John Cena. The video currently has over two million views.

CFO$ is responsible for creating a great deal of the entrance themes that accompany modern WWE Superstars down to the ring. They have created the entrance theme for Shinsuke Nakamura, Finn Balor, Bobby Roode, and countless others. In an interview with Metal Injection, the team revealed a bit of their creative process. They claim that they typically work on multiple projects at once, and sometimes they have to scramble to create a new theme for somebody at the last minute, but they said that this can “make it more fun to be honest.” They also revealed that WWE management usually has a say in what the final product sounds like for each wrestler. CFO$ also claimed that Aleister Black’s theme may be the “heaviest” theme that they have ever created.
