India Gets New Army Officers As 172 Including Afghans And Bhutanese Cadets Get Commissioned

It’s always a pleasure to see young officers commissioned in the Indian Army. Another proud moment for the army came on Saturday when 172 cadets were commissioned as Officers in Officers Training Academy, Chennai.

The cadets also hailed from Bhutan and Afghanistan.

Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, General Officer, Commander-in-Chief, reviewed the parade on March 9. He also asked the students to stick to core values of the Indian Army before presenting the Sword of Honour and a silver medal to academy under Officer Siddhartha Bhawnani.
